Business Charlestown Inc

Business Charlestown is the local chamber of commerce in Charlestown. Members are actively involved in staging networking functions including the Lake Macquarie Business Club who meet monthly at The Apollo and also stage an Annual Golf Day.

BCI are involved with council on planning matters and the chamber provide this website as a marketing and information porthole for businesses who are members and the local community.

BCI membership is $95 (not registered for GST) which includes an automatic membership to the Lake Macquarie Business Club.

Business Charlestown Meetings

Business Charlestown holds bi-monthly Public Meetings, where BCI members are invited to attend, RSVP to Town Coordinator Jenny Barrie on 0411 222 429. 

Committee meetings are held alternate months.

A social meeting is held in December and the Annual General Meeting is held in October. Meetings are held at the Mattara Hotel.

  Charlestown’s Business Women’s Showcase – a Success!

One hundred ladies from across Lake Macquarie enjoyed a day of business networking, with the added bonus of delicious delicacies on Wednesday, 25 August. There were thirty business exhibitors, some great networking exchanges, plenty of fantastic giveaways and three very informative guest speakers.

The Kahibah Bowling Club was transformed into a colourfulshowcase heaven. All attendees received much welcomed promotional bags, packed full of samples, vouchers and brochures from the exhibitors.

All of the surveyed exhibitors expressed delight and spoke on how they felt they received great value for their time and investment.
