Jenny's role currently is as a Town Coordinator for the Lake Macquarie City Council's Town Centre Program for Business Charlestown and Belmont Chamber of Commerce.

Jenny Barrie has worked in the City of Lake Macquarie for over 12 years producing festivals and events in Warners Bay, on the scenic Warners Bay Foreshore and now Lakefest in March in Belmont. Jenny coordinates meetings and functions for the Lake Macquarie Business Club, including monthly luncheons and supports the Committe who stage a Golf Day annually.
The New Years Eve event at Warners Bay was Jenny's flagship event, together with the Music in the Podium concerts staged on Friday nights from November to March which she started and ran successfully for over 10 years. Jenny is a proud self employed small business operator who enjoys working in this developing and beautiful city - Lake Macquarie.

Jenny currently has the Darby Street Precinct Committee as a client working with Newcastle City Council, staging the Darby Street Coffee Festival in May; and the Darby Street Festival in October.

Jenny thrives on working with business communities on projects and festivals helping towns with marketing, business development and economic development which in turn assists with employment and place activation strategies.

Jenny's passion is music and travel, with an emphasis on tourism development in the Lake Macquarie and Newcastle LGA's.
