Three years ago Kumfs New Zealand decided to move their Newcastle Store to Charlestown, they considered that Charlestown was indeed the place to be for their store, and most importantly the location would provide easier access for their clients.

The availability of easier parking in the Hilltop Plaza complex, the excellent networking opportunities, the 24 hours a day exposure on the Highway, the proposed development of Charlestown as a major Business and Retail Centre were powerful incentives to move the store to Charlestown.

Kumfs is a family owned New Zealand shoe manufacturer, who has some 12 stores in their native New Zealand and 14 stores in our state of New South Wales. The company was started by two Podiatrists in 1946, who wanted their patients to have truly good fitting footwear and you may say the rest is history,their shoes are now sold in many countries throughout the world.

We are indeed priviledged to have one of their stores in our area.

They have a very modern and innovative marketing strategy, but have old fashioned ideals about customer service, that have stood the test of time, our Customers do come first and Kumfs deliver on their promise of quality, comfortable footwear.

Each style in the range, each season, is carefully chosen to ensure we have something for everyone, with special focus on footwear for people of all ages who need to wear an orthotic.

Their design team is continuously working on styles for all ages, to be sure we do cater for women of all ages.
